Race Master Holster
We set out to develop a new holster with the following goals in mind:
• To offer the best and most advanced release system on the market
• To offer a wide range of position adjustments – and to hold those settings rock solid
• To offer both a fully locked safety feature and tension adjustment capabilities
• To allow the user to change from one gun type to another without having to buy a complete new holster
• To look sharper and cooler than any other race holster out there

Race Master Holster - Insert Block
The Insert Block Assembly includes:
1. The Locking Block (gun specific)
2. The Sliding Lock, assembled (gun specific)
3. The safety lever, assembled.
This assembly does not include the stainless steel tension adjustment screw, spring and plate, which you must transfer over from your Race Master holster and use with the 2nd Insert Block Assembly.

We are very please to offer our LEFT HAND version of the DAA Race Master holster!
The LH version is in no way a “modified RH”, but rather a true left hand design.
We were able to design this new LH version to utilize the same insert blocks as used in the original RH version and this allows us to offer our LH customer the full range and selection of gun types available to the RH shooters. In fact, the only parts which are custom made for the LH holster are the body of the holster and the tension knob, which now has a new two piece design.
The performance of the LH holster is as good, and possibly even better than the RH one!
In the LH version, the safety level is situated on the outer side, not the inner side of the holster body, thus allowing for an even easier access to it.
The Tension knob works in reverse – it must be screwed all the way IN to achieve the lightest setting – which is how must users will usually use their holster, hence creating a less protruding knob.
The only compromise we had to made, due to small volume, is that the LH holster is available ONLY IN BLACK.
Some shooters have requested it – so we are happy to oblige.
Here is the new Stainless Steel “Headless” Tension Screw for the Race Master holster (Right hand only!). This screw replaces the original and does away with the larger manual turn tension knob, which a few felt got in the way. This screw allows for adjustment using a flat head screwdriver.
The new screw is 3mm longer on the threaded section, so there is less chance of loosing it, it juts out just a fraction from the holster body in the loose setting.
* If you wish to order a new Race Master Holster, and would prefer this screw instead of the original – we can oblige at no extra cost. just make a note of this when you order your new holster online.
A few shooters have found that the serrated safety lever interferes with their draw of the gun. In response to their request, we are pleased to offer a replacement safety lever, which has been machined down to a slimmer, smooth profile.
To replace the safety, do the following:
1. Remove the insert block assembly from your holster.
2. Using a pointed tool, push the safety pin from the inside out, until you can grip the head of the pin with a pliers. pull the pin out and remove the original safety (Don’t worry about the spring loaded ball – it cannot fall out from the safety’s side).
3. Insert the new safety and replace the pin.
4. Test the safety is functioning as it should, and reassemble your holster.
Each holster is supplied with a set of 3 hex keys, that are all that is needed to adjust all the screws in the holster.
he set includes 3 extra long keys, with a rounded tip in these dimensions:
1 x 2.5mm
1 x 3mm
1 x 4mm
The screws are all top quality stainless-steel screws and so should not require replacement too often, but, it can be reassuring to have spare screws in your range bag. This is a complete set of all the screws used in the RM holster, packed in a bag and ready for use.
The set includes:
4 x M4 round cap crews for the belt hanger plates
1 x M6 round cap screw, centrer pivot screw
1 x M5 screw for the ball joint assembly
2 x M4 counter sunk screws, for the insert assembly
2 x M5 point set screws for locking the ball joint
1 x M5 set screw for tightening the holster body to the rod
