“Full-Size” Race Master Holster

The “Full-Size” Race Master Holster is the final model of our new holster, designed to be compatible with practically all gun types used in IPSC and USPSA shooting.
The replacement insert blocks allow the user to change from one gun type to another in a matter of seconds, and without loosing his adjustments to the holster settings.
The “Full-Size” version is just 10mm longer than the “Shorty” and allows the use of all our insert blocks.

“Shorty” Race Master Holster

The “Shorty” Race Master Holster is a limited additional model of the Race Master, which offers STI and other 1911 platform shooters an even more compact version of the Race Master.

The original design of the holster was a “Shorty” and earlier versions seen at the 2010 Shot and IWA Shows were of this model. Later, as we prepared the various gun inserts, it became apparent that the holster body would have to be lengthened a little to accommodate the larger trigger guard of guns such as the CZ SP01, the Glock, the Tanfoglio and others. So the design of the body was modified, making it 10mm longer.
However the first few hundred holster bodies were made in the “Shorty” version, and compatible inserts manufactured, to be used with a limited selection of gun types, which have a more compact trigger.

The “Shorty” is an excellent choice for those shooters who expect to use their holster only for an STI or similar. It has all the same features of the “full size” model, in a slightly more compact version.

Advantages of the “Shorty” model:
* A little more compact and lightweight than the “Full-Size” version
* Gun is seated a little lower, so the range of height adjustability is increased
* 10 Euro cheaper than the “Full-Size” version
* All the same features and functionality of the “Full-Size”

Disadvantages of the “Shorty” model:
* Cannot be used with all insert blocks

Race Master Holster – Left Hand (LH)

We are very please to offer our LEFT HAND version of the DAA Race Master holster!

The LH version is in no way a “modified RH”, but rather a true left hand design. We were able to design this new LH version to utilize the same insert blocks as used in the original RH version and this allows us to offer our LH customer the full range and selection of gun types available to the RH shooters. In fact, the only parts which are custom made for the LH holster are the body of the holster and the tension knob, which now has a new two piece design.

The performance of the LH holster is as good, and possibly even better than the RH one!

In the LH version, the safety level is situated on the outer side, not the inner side of the holster body, thus allowing for an even easier access to it.
The Tension knob works in reverse – it must be screwed all the way IN to achieve the lightest setting – which is how must users will usually use their holster, hence creating a less protruding knob.

The only compromise we had to made, due to small volume, is that the LH holster is available ONLY IN BLACK.
